You know that Lyle Lovett song “She’s No Lady (she’s my wife)”?
Kai was getting off the school bus in front of the house on Friday and one of children on board asked Kai “Who’s that lady?” meaning Tina.
Kai looked at Tina then turned to the inquisitive little girl and said, “That’s not a lady, that’s my mom.”
As you may imagine, the bus driver enjoyed this exchange immensely.
